If you wish to pursue a course in MBA, remember the college you choose goes a long way in determining how your career will shape. MAT is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA). The test score is used to gain admission to PGDM, MBA, and allied management programs.
AIMA conducts the examination four times a year namely in February, May, September, and December. This examination can be answered via the online and offline mode depending on your preference.
Admit Card: The Most Important Document
Candidates, who have registered for MAT exam, will be issued online MAT 2017 admit card. The admit card will be available to candidates via the applicant login page from 26 August 2017. It will be issued to successfully registered candidates.
Candidates can download the admit card using their online application number, date of birth, and email ID. Just two fields are required to access the admit card on the AIMA website. It is prudent to remember that you will need to carry the admit card on the day of the exam along with other documents like a valid ID proof. Otherwise, you will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
There are also a few other things you need to keep in mind if you are taking the MAT 2017 exam.
The Application Process
The application process for the MAT 2017 has already been started on 3 July 2017. The last date for online registration was 25 August 2017 while the last date for the purchase of form was 23 August 2017. Once the application form is filled and the application fee is paid, students can download the admit card.
MAT 2017 Admit Card
The offline examination will be held on 3 September 2017 while the online one is scheduled for 9 September 2017. Candidates appearing for the exam have to have the admit card when they will go to the examination venue. Also, this year, AIMA will not be sending a hard copy of the admit card to candidates. Hence, you will have to download it from the official AIMA website. In case you are unable to download the hall ticket for some reason, get in touch with the main office in AIMA in Delhi.
The admit card will have the following details:
- Photo of the candidate
- Candidate’s signature
- Roll number
- Test center name and address
- Schedule of the exam
Steps to Download the Admit Card
Click on the following URL – http://apps.aima.in/MATSept17/MATSep17AdmitCard.aspx
- Enter any two details – Online application number, date of birth and/or email ID.
- After successful login, the admit card for MAT will be displayed on the screen.
- Use the print option to print out the card.
There are a few things that you need to remember with respect to your admit card for MAT 2017.
The candidate, who is taking the exam, needs to visit the exam center with the admit card on the day of examination. However, just carrying the admit card is not sufficient. Candidates also need to carry the following:
- The print out of the admit card
- The printout of email confirmation
- A photocopy of the valid photo ID, which has to be submitted at the center
Photo IDs accepted are:
- Passport issued by the Indian government
- PAN Card
- Voter’s ID
- Aadhaar Card
